- Open Access Policy
JPITH is an open-access journal, ensuring all published content is freely accessible to the global research community without subscription fees.
- Published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing for sharing, adaptation, and reuse with proper attribution.
- Peer Review Policy
- JPITH follows a double-blind peer review process, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure impartial evaluation.
- Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two experts in the relevant field, with a focus on originality, methodological rigor, and contribution to the field.
- Submission Policy
- Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal's submission portal.
- Only original, unpublished work not under consideration elsewhere will be reviewed.
- Authors must adhere to the journal’s Author Guidelines regarding formatting, citation, and ethical compliance.
- Publication Ethics
JPITH upholds the highest ethical standards as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
- Plagiarism, data falsification, and other forms of misconduct are strictly prohibited.
- Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any conflicts of interest.
- Article Processing Charges (APC)
To sustain its open-access model, JPITH applies the following APCs upon manuscript acceptance:
- For Authors from India: INR 2200
- For International Authors: USD 60
- Waivers or discounts may be provided for authors with limited funding upon request.
- Anti-Plagiarism Policy
- All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate).
- Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% are flagged for revision or rejection.
- Proven cases of plagiarism result in manuscript rejection and potential blacklisting.
- Copyright Policy
- Authors retain copyright of their work and agree to publish under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).
- Authors may freely share and distribute their published articles with proper acknowledgment of JPITH.
- Withdrawal and Retraction Policy
- Withdrawal: Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript prior to final acceptance.
- Retraction: Published articles found to violate ethical standards (e.g., plagiarism, data falsification) will be retracted, with a retraction notice issued to inform readers.
- Archiving and Preservation Policy
JPITH ensures long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content through partnerships with reputable digital repositories and archiving services.
- Privacy Policy
- Personal information collected during submission and peer review is kept confidential and used solely for journal purposes.
- JPITH does not share personal data with third parties without consent.
- Appeals and Complaints Policy
- Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a written justification.
- Complaints regarding ethical or procedural concerns are addressed transparently by the editorial team, with final decisions made by the Editor-in-Chief.
- Advertising and Sponsorship Policy
