Author Guidelines

The Journal of Pharmaceutical Innovations and Therapeutic Horizons (JPITH) provides a platform for high-quality research in pharmaceutical sciences and therapeutic innovations. Authors are required to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure smooth submission, review, and publication processes.

 

  1. Types of Submissions

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  1. Original Research Articles: Comprehensive studies presenting novel findings.
  2. Review Articles: Detailed analyses of existing literature on relevant topics.
  3. Case Studies: Reports highlighting unique or innovative applications in pharmaceuticals or therapeutics.
  4. Short Communications: Concise reports of preliminary findings or significant advancements.
  5. Technical Notes: Descriptions of novel methods, techniques, or technologies.

 

  1. Manuscript Preparation

General Formatting

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX (.tex).
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
  • Spacing: Double-spaced with 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Page Numbers: Include page numbers for easy reference.

Manuscript Structure

  1. Title Page:
  • Manuscript title (concise and descriptive).
  • Full names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors.
  • Indicate the corresponding author with their contact details.
  1. Abstract:
  • A structured summary of the manuscript (150–250 words).
  • Include objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  1. Keywords:
    • Provide 4–6 keywords to aid indexing and searchability.
  2. Main Text:
  • Introduction: State the problem, objectives, and significance of the research.
  • Materials and Methods: Clearly describe experimental methods, tools, and data analysis techniques.
  • Results: Present findings with appropriate tables, figures, or charts.
  • Discussion: Interpret the results, compare with existing literature, and highlight implications.
  • Conclusion: Summarize key findings and propose future research directions.
  1. Acknowledgments:
    Recognize contributors, funding sources, and supporting organizations.
  2. References:
  • Follow the IEEE citation style.
  • Include all cited sources in a reference list at the end of the manuscript.

Figures and Tables

  • Ensure all figures and tables are clear and high-resolution.
  • Provide descriptive captions and number them sequentially.

 

  1. Submission Process
  • Submit manuscripts via the journal’s online submission portal.
  • Include a cover letter highlighting the manuscript’s novelty and relevance to the journal’s scope.
  • Ensure that all authors have approved the manuscript before submission.

 

  1. Ethical Compliance
  • Originality: Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Plagiarism: The manuscript will undergo plagiarism screening. Ensure proper citation of all sources.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research.
  • Ethical Approvals: Include statements confirming ethical compliance for studies involving humans or animals.

  • For International Authors: USD 60

 

  1. Copyright Policy
  • Authors retain copyright but must agree to publish under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).

 

  1. Revision and Proofs
  • Manuscripts requiring revisions will be returned to authors with detailed comments.
  • Authors must submit revised manuscripts within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Final proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for approval before publication.
